University of Southern Indiana SAT Scores, Aid and More University of Southern Indiana Description: The University of Southern Indiana first opened its doors in 1965 as a regional campus of Indiana State University. Today the 330-acre campus in Evansville is an independent state university. The university is made up of five colleges: business, education and human services, liberal arts, nursing and health professions, and science and engineering.
